Microsoft® Mobile Enterprise Solution from Telstra offers your business the ability to work wirelessly whilst utilising your Microsoft® IT infrastructure currently in place.

The Microsoft® Mobile Enterprise Solution and eligible and compatible handsets with Windows Mobile® 6.1 (or higher) software (Windows Mobile® smartphones) offers your business the ability to work wirelessly whilst utilising your Microsoft IT infrastructure currently in place.  It offers advanced remote email messaging on Australia's fastest national mobile broadband network in Australia*1/3. The solution is available with monthly pricing plans and there is support for all services connected to a plan and the Telstra Next GTM network.

Telstra and Microsoft® have created the Microsoft® Mobile Enterprise Solution to offer email in your inbox as it arrives (push email). There are two types of plans to choose from, suited for different needs.
  • Microsoft® Mobile Email Plan
  • Microsoft® Mobile Services Plan

Microsoft Mobile Enterprise Solution - Compatible Handsets

The following handset models have been certified by Telstra for use with the Microsoft Mobile Enterprise Solution. These handsets must be purchased from Telstra and must be running a specific version of Telstra firmware (ROM).

     
     
 
 

Important - Handset Firmware Upgrades:

Handsets will NOT operate with the Microsoft Mobile Enterprise Solution without the latest version of Telstra firmware installed.

To check current the version of firmware on your Windows Mobile Professional handset go to start>settings (systems tab) > device information (version tab)

To check current the version of firmware on your Windows Mobile Standard handset go to start > settings > version

To upgrade the firmware on your handset, download the upgrade to your PC Windows XP, Vista, read the upgrade instructions included, connect your handset to your PC via a USB cable and run the firmware upgrade application.

BEFORE UPGRADING YOUR HANDSET FIRMWARE, ALL IMPORTANT INFORMATION, APPLICATIONS, DOCUMENTS AND FILES STORED ON YOUR HANDSET MUST BE BACKED UP TO YOUR PC
